This week we’re closing out our series “Living Rooted in God’s Promises” after 12 wonderful weeks together. I’m so glad I got to spend that time with you as we discussed 12 promises our everlasting God made to us. Now, let’s do a series recap before our new series next week.

Over the past 12 weeks we’ve been reminded that God’s promises aren’t just feel-good phrases we put on coffee mugs and t-shirts; they are covenantal promises made by a God who has never broken a single one, and who never will. We’ve also been learning what it looks like to actually live from them, not just believe them in theory. So, here’s a brief overview of what we’ve covered together.

Week 1 — God Promises His Presence God’s presence is covenantal, not emotional — it doesn’t get weaker in hard seasons or stronger when we’re spiritually on fire; it just is, because He said so.

Week 2 — God Promises Peace This peace isn’t something we get after the storm passes — it’s something we’re invited into in the middle of it.

Week 3 — God Promises Provision When we make God the priority, He takes care of what we actually need — not everything we want, but nothing we truly need goes unmet.

Week 4 — God Promises Purpose in Every Season God isn’t calling the painful things good, but He is promising He won’t waste them, that He redeems and restores, and weaves even what was meant for harm into something meaningful over time.

Week 5 — God Promises Renewed Strength God renews our strength daily. He doesn’t hand us a full tank for the whole season ahead, He gives us exactly what we need for today.

Week 6 — God Promises Wisdom When we lean fully on Him, clarity comes gradually, step by step, and our obedience sharpens our ability to recognize His voice.

Week 7 — God Promises to Fight for His People When something is ours to carry, God will invite us to participate. But when it’s His to carry, He invites us to trust Him. Not every battle requires our response.

Week 8 — God Promises to Lead You We don’t need the whole plan before we move — we just need to stay close to God, take the next step He’s showing us, and trust that He’ll lead us again after it.

Week 9 — God Promises Faithful Love God’s faithful love doesn’t depend on how well we showed up yesterday. His mercies are literally new every morning, which means every day is an invitation to begin again.

Week 10 — God Promises Restoration God doesn’t need our perfection, He needs our willingness, and when we get it wrong, we bring it back to Him and He restores.

Week 11 — God Promises a Future and a Hope Jesus reminded His disciples the night before the cross that their future with Him was already secure, and when we really hold onto that, we can fully invest in this life without putting the full weight of our hope on it.

Week 12 — God Promises Fulfillment in Christ Everything we are looking for has already arrived in Jesus, and because He is unmovable, the fulfillment He secured for us is too.

Wow, what an amazing series. I sure feel encouraged and hope you do as well. The running theme we see is that God loves us, He is faithful to us and will never break His promise, no matter our circumstances. Let’s live in these truths today and forever!

So, this week, let’s do a Personal Promise Review

Go back through the twelve weeks and ask yourself honestly:

Which promise do I need most this season? Which one am I still learning to receive?

Feel free to grab your journal and write it down. Then write out Numbers 23:19 in your own words as a personal declaration over what’s ahead.

Bookmark this episode to read often in remembrance of the promises our wonderful God made to us.

Please share your thoughts or reflections in the comment section below. Your perspective might just encourage someone else on their journey.

Next week, we’ll start a new series titled “Putting on The Armor of God. It’s going to be sooo good. And if you missed my last post on God Promises Fulfillment in Christ, you can catch it here.
